Description
Boegel and Holtappels have produced this sarcastic video characterised by elements of simplicity and humour. The two men are sitting in two chairs drinking beer, directing their own show and being engaged in a sarcastic talk. They are using plastic bags as signifiying mediums of consumption and art in an ironic way; by cutting holes out of them, wearing them as clothes and molding them on their body while at the same time commenting on their acts. Everyday objects are used to create new forms of items and entities composing a new commented and sometimes absurd reality. This video was part of an exhibition initiated by Bob Lens under the theme of plastic bags.
