De installatie-ruimte begint achter 20 met blauwe vloeistof gevulde staven van glas.
5 transformatoren met een gezamenlijk vermogen van 30.000 Volt zijn aangesloten op een grote koperen kegel en er omheen 18 schietloden. Langzaam heen en weer pendelend boven glasplaten met koper en goud zoekt de elektriciteit via een lichtboog de korste weg voor ontlading.
Het glazen dak is blauw geverfd. Aan de achterkant reflecteren 3 blauwe glasplaten de opstelling.
Druppelende was en snaren, die gekoppeld aan de kegel langs elkaar heen schuiven en tekstfragmenten vormen de bronnen van het geluid.
Description
The installation space is located behind 20 glass tubes filled with blue liquid.
Five transformers with a total output capacity of 30,000 volts are connected to a large copper cone and to 18 plumb lines which surround the cone. While these swing slowly back and forth above glass plates coated with copper and gold, the electricity discharges to the plates through an arc, always seeking the shortest path.
The glass roof is painted blue. At the back, 3 sheets of blue glass reflect the installation.
Strings which are joined to the cone rub against one another. These together with dripping wax and fragments of text form the sound sources.
